While at Art Center I worked with DesignMatters, which is a program that exists as the interface between the school and the United Nations. I was asked to address one of the Millennium Development Goals, and how that particular problem is manifesting in the City of Los Angeles. I chose to take a closer look at poverty and homelessness and tried to address it in a new way - completely avoiding photographing homeless people and instead focusing on the condition of being homeless.
